A great even early in the year
2027 will be 20th year! I have riden all 19 so will be back next year! Well worth the trip and raising money for a good cause

Apparently there is also a medium route
... however it seems to be an after-thought. There is very little information about the medium route - there is a long route card, but I can't find a medium route card. The website constantly refers to 2 well stocked feed stations - but that's just for the long route. So that means on the medium route you don't hit a feed station or place to top up your water until around 75kms in. We'd carried nutrition, but needed something more solid a lot earlier on. The medium route GPX was also buggy to download, (though could be user error). Overall its a punchy route for early season, not one that I'd recommend for beginners.

Stunning country and a varied route, great organisation with easy parking, everyone very friendly. A rewarding ride.
Don't think I'd buy the t-shirt again, prefer it to be cotton.

A beautiful and challenging route
A very well thought out route, taking in lovely countryside, difficult hills and swooping descents to reward your efforts. Mainly quiet roads make for a relaxed ride. The organization, food and drink supplies and general atmosphere was excellent, and much praise is due to the organizers for a great day out.

Good value for money , some of the main road could have been better signed so that cars know there a event happening

Lacking in Organisation and Overpriced
A lovely route but seriously poor value for money. The two feed stations were simply crisps or sugar based cakes and chocolate which isn't enough to sustain you for a big ride and not even coffee available. I'm told by others that there were baguettes at one point but they obviously ran out. By the finish, they ran out of medals. The basic after ride burger with a beer was overpriced at £15.50 (and they'd run out of cheese for the burgers) which was a final kick in the teeth after paying £40 for what was essentially some snacks and a route I've done before by myself!

Really great ride, excellent route and organisation, thanks,
Thanks for organising this event, a great day out with plenty of straightforward riding and some challenging climbs. Marshalling and signage were excellent.
Chris Mc Lennan
An extremely welcoming event with a stunning ride.
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and added a huge amount to the atmosphere and overall event. The post ride reception was great too, especially appreciated the refreshments and live music! The route was fantastic, excellent views and quieter roads. I'll certainly be back (in large part because of the exceedingly friendly staff!)
James Platt
Great route, everyone was friendly and helpful. Great feed stop.
The burgers and sausages at the end were overpriced for the quality of the burger. Unclear whether any of the profits from the food at the end went to charity but if so it lessens the blow. £7.50 for a very thin burger was steep.

Great rider really enjoyed it found it very difficult though
