Fantastic event

Such a good route. Well thought out route, taking in lovely countryside, difficult hills and swooping descents. Mainly quiet roads make for a relaxed ride. The organization, food and drink supplies and general atmosphere was excellent, and much praise is due to the organizers for a great day out.

A wonderful day, even the hills were 'fun' :o)

Very well run & super friendly.... it is the third time I have done this & will be doing it again next year.
The weather was fab which made the rape seed fields & bluebell woods amazing to see... and smell !!
Thank you to all organisers & helpers.

A great day out on a beautiful course.

Some acts signage notifying the steep descent into the left hander junction would be useful, the chap waving people to slow down was useful but only just!! That being said, I was going quite quickly!!

Many thanks as always to the organisers and Marshall’s out on the road. Was well signposted. Feeding station was very well stocked. Very enjoyable ride. Looking forward to next year.

I enjoyed the ride and the atmosphere. Participated for the second time and plan to do it again next year. So road have poor surface but you can't find 100km of good quality road) I think that it is not friendly for beginners because of climbs

A challenging and stunning route for an early in the year challenge.

Friendly volunteers. Excellent signage. Great village hall. Good cause. Only slight "issue" was time taken to register.

A great event for experienced cyclists

I love the route except the descent down Blowingstone Hill which is very dangerous and without a flat run out at the bottom. How about diverting down New Road with the long decent to Childrey which can be a good pay back for the drag out of Lambourn? Or the steep descent direct to Sparsholt which has a long run-off before reaching the junction? Both are slightly longer that Blowingstone, but with less energy lost on the b full rakes-on decent on Blowingstone.

Well run, great scenery, lovely people

I have ridden this 7 times and every time it has been excellent.
Would definitely recommend.
Cheese rolls at 2nd food stop are exactly what is needed.
Dragon Hill is exactly 1 hill too far.
The route is flat with some short sharp hills.
